Key PE Sports provide a high quality Scheme of Work in line with the PE National Curriculum. The scheme has been developed by our team of qualified primary school teachers, with a background in leading Primary PE. Our scheme provides teachers with lessons that are fun, progressive and challenging. The lesson plans are easy to follow and help teachers adopt a more creative approach to teaching and learning within physical education. Lessons provide children with the essential development of agility, balance and co-ordination, inclusive healthy competition and co-operative learning by using fun and engaging games that build up a range of transferable skills. These can be used in a variety of sports and encourages creativity, cooperation and teamwork. Basic skills such as running, jumping and throwing, cooperative and collaborative learning are all covered throughout the scheme. Challenge is encouraged through group and individual challenges.
PE Co-ordinators can create a bespoke curriculum map tailored to their school by using our interactive curriculum overview tool. This will show the breath of skills taught over year groups. Teachers have the ability to be flexible by adapting how many lessons they need to teach on a particular skill or sport.
Key PE Sports provide bespoke training for teachers and staff who deliver primary school PE. Training is crucial to ensure that teachers are confident in the delivery of high quality teaching and to maintain a good level of PE skills progression. Training can accomodate staff who are higly confident in delivering primary PE to those who need support and guidance. Training is delivered by highly qualified PE specialists with a vast experience of delivering and managing the primary PE curriculum. Training can include staff meetings, INSET's and lesson delivery, depending on your school needs.
